The Year 2023

My reflection of 2023

Reflecting on the conclusion of 2023, I find myself contemplating the incredible journey I've had as a tattoo artist throughout the year. While every tattoo holds a special significance for me, a select few have truly become my favorites. As the year wraps up, I can't help but acknowledge the numerous challenges that have crossed my path. This particular year has tested my resilience, pushing me to confront self-doubt and question the decisions I've made.

The chosen path and actions I've undertaken have not been without their obstacles, prompting me to ponder whether I'm on the right track or if the difficulties I face are a result of my choices. Navigating life's complexities often leaves us feeling uncertain, leading us to question our purpose and the routes we've taken. The pursuit of success is riddled with setbacks, causing moments of self-reflection and second-guessing.

This year has compelled me to confront my insecurities and reassess my goals. I've scrutinized my decisions, delved into their underlying reasons, and contemplated potential outcomes. As I approach 2024, I am uncertain about my current path and open to exploring new avenues. I have a long list of ideas that I am eager to pursue.

Every decision we make contributes to shaping our experiences, molding us into the individuals we aspire to be. So, as I bid farewell to this year, I embrace the challenges that have tested my resolve. Recognizing that self-doubt is a natural part of the human experience, I extend myself the compassion to explore and question my choices. Through this introspection, I open myself to new possibilities, gaining the clarity needed to confidently move forward on my chosen path.

I have noticed that many self-employed artists or tattoo artists often portray themselves in a specific manner, making it difficult to see the challenges they face or whether they are struggling or not. Moreover, social media exacerbates these insecurities by selectively showcasing only what they want you to see.

As we wrap up 2023, I'd like to share a selection of my personally favorite tattoos. Some of the pieces I truly relish are still work in progress and won't be featured here. Looking ahead to the coming year, my goal is to concentrate on honing my distinctive style and developing my creative ideas. I also aspire to connect with clients who appreciate and resonate with my artistic vision.
